Hearts Full of Love

These wall hearts are the perfect way to let someone know how much they mean to you. As a gift to mark a special occasion or as a positive affirmation during a difficult time, they will warm the hearts of those who receive them.
Each heart is hand stamped, cut and glazed so no two are exactly alike.

What 'Hearts Full of Love' mean to me:
In 2016 I had the privilege of becoming a kidney donor. It was a life changing experience for me to be able to help someone else in this very special way. The journey to becoming a donor was a long and stressful one. When I finally got the approval to donate I was so happy I began making hearts with the words Love, Hope and Joy that expressed how I was feeling. In the days and weeks that followed I added words I found comforting and that I needed to hold onto to help me through the next phase - waiting for a good exchange pairing where I could donate into a kidney chain. So I added in Believe, Family, Faith, Peace and Trust. Making each of these hearts has been an act of love and belief in the good things that lay ahead for our family.

We had a successful transplant (June 22nd 2016) and the first hearts I made upon returning to my studio were Home and Rejoice. It is really special to me to be able to send these affirmations of good wishes out into the world with the hope that they bring joy and comfort to those who receive them. A portion of the proceeds is donated to Stanford Hospital’s Kidney Research program with much gratitude for the gift we have been given.

Each heart is unique in shape and color. They are approximately 6" x 7" and hang easily on the wall on a single nail. They are high fired stoneware so are suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
