Totems Book

Totems come in many shapes and sizes but there’s not a lot written about them. In my book, “Totems,” I share stories about the inspiration behind many of my pieces.

Traditionally totems commemorate events or tell stories and are a way to preserve and share history.

Following in this tradition my totems also each have a story to tell, either one of my own or the story of the family who has commissioned it. Enjoy!

Children’s Books

A ceramic sculpture of a rabbit dressed as a fisherman, wearing a red and white striped shirt, holding a fishing rod, standing on a turtle with a turtle head visible at the base.

Giovanni and Marco began as a sculpture. Just for fun, I made up an adventurous life for them in Venice, Italy. I realized that this story would make a lovely children’s book and so their adventures began.

Now they are exploring the world, making new friends and learning along the way. These are great read along storybooks for young readers.
